Congratulations to Justin Cruz(Spike22Academy) and John Tuck (GuahanTopTeam) who won their bouts agains Philippine MMA Champions Mark Sangiao and Eduard Folayang last night. Cruz defeated Sangiao in a highly anticipated match via front choke some 3minutes into the first round to defend the his BANTAWEIGHT TITLE  in URCC 18and Tuck KOd the 70kg. URCC champion with a right cross only 15seconds into the first round in GUERILLA WARFARE 3:CONFRONTATION in Saipan .

This marked the first losses for Sangiao and Folayang. and comes just one weekend after the Philippines highlighted World Combat sports with BrandonVera as the  main event in UFC 105 and Manny Pacquiao in World professional boxing.

Guam and the Philippines have been at pace in Brazilian Jiujitsu and Mixed Martial Arts and work interdependently in Asian combat spirts develpment.
