Hafa Adai, Some updates for you:
TrenchTech in Saipan will be moving to a much larger locationand will be launching a new andSaipan’;s largest event venue for the upcoming TrenchWarz.8 this summer. Elijah Delos Reyes of Guam will be competing in this weekend’s “Icon:ToHell and Back” and Patrick Ayuyu is in the Final 16 in K-1 World Max; WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP tournament at an amazings 155lb. Tournament against one of KI-1stop ten fighters Gago Drago. Good Luck fellows… As an island, weve just finished another successful event with PXC14:Evolution. For those of us that made it to the fights, it is impossible to deny that Mixed Martial Arts is adjusting itself properly to true sport and athletics. Our local fighters athletes are in great shape, our event productions are on point, and our fans and business support are more educated than ever. Win or lose, our fighter athletes have shown just as much, if not more, sportsmanship and resolve than most other local sports that have preceded this sport and lifestyle that has impacted Guam like no other.
Evolved CombativeAthletics on Guam has not only sprouted a whole new approach to intelligent combatives but also a revived approach in intelligent fitness. It has paved the way for the sincere pursuit of global success. Though the sport and industry , like anything else, is not perfect, for the most part, the by products of local competitive Martial Arts is delivering inspiration, pride, camaraderie, and ambition to the people of the Mariana Islands (here and abroad) and foreigners who have learned to call us home. However, With all the good things MMA has done for us as sport, sometimes we might forget what it does for us as Martial Art. Not too long ago, popular thought was that true Martial Artists only use their art when needed. And that techniques should only be used to protect yourself or, more significantly, to protect others. Obviously, since jumping into the ring, cage , or mat in competition doesn’t quite paint the picture for a life or death situation—this might create questions with traditionalists whether competition is healthy or not for those in pursuit of true martial art. However,If you look at some of the things we look for in Martial Art—discipline, respect, honor, sacrifice, ethic, etiquette, and skill.; You’ll discover that these are also things cultivated in sport. With the evolution from NHB into MMA, Competitive combatives is going through an excellent convergence of Martial Art and sport. With all the hype and attention that its receiving, we would be missing out if we didn’t bring the finer and bigger picture bonus rewards of Martial Art into light, to help brighten dark corners that might inconvenience and disappoint things in our community. As our sport and Lifestyle develop positively globally, As our fighter athletes recognize their potential in influence and voice, through proper and dilligent community-oriented intention we can look forward to an army of citizen soldiers who protect and service, and not threaten or disrespect, our families and friends and other things dear and sacred on the land and lifestyle that we want to persevere and cultivate for our children as an anthem of service, strength, and IslandPride. Thanks again for stopping by.
