As the sport of MMA has grown at an incredible pace in the past five years, so have the apparel companies that brand the sport themselves. Many fight fans wear these brands making the strong statement that they’re A. a fan or B. train and fight themselves.

For many of you hardcore MMA fans, you know of popular “mainstream” brands like Tapout, Hitman, Warrior Wear, Silverstar, Throwdown, and all the other guys.

If you only view top venues as the UFC, WEC or Strikeforce, you probably have never heard of the Guam originated lifestyle brand, FOKAI.

The word, “Fokai”, in Guam usually has the meaning of “go for it”. It embodies a lifestyle, an attitude and a persona of living life with extreme passion in whatever you do.

From what we have observed, the fighters and company of Fokai pride themselves in the action packed lifestyle by not only endorsing the evolution of the sport of MMA, but other such extreme sports as surfing, motorcross and drag racing.

Fokai has a following like no other. They aren’t all wearing bandana’s on their head, calling girls “bitches” and proclaiming their life or brand as “bad for the sport”. They have a unique loyalty and family-first mantality that is rarely visible in the MMA community. Having started on the small island of Guam, the brand itself has spread all over Asia: Japan, Saipan, Vietnam to name a few. They also have headquarters in Hawaii, Ireland and Kekai MMA’s very own hometown, San Diego.

Fokai believes in community.

We endorse Fokai and would encourage you to visit their website(s). In the future, we may or may NOT be so loving to a brand such as Fokai. But with Fokai, we love their products, their ideals and passion for living life to the fullest.
